Tonight I leave you with this…
ROMANS 5:3-4 says, “Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.” Think about how the rich man was with Lazarus. Father Abraham came to Lazarus. He was a faithful servant to God and he suffered as well. You can read along in Luke 16:19-31. There are many kinds of suffering in life, this is something that we each think about and give to God wholeheartedly. When this verse hit my eyes and lips tonight I felt the need to share it with you. I am a witness for sure in this case. But no matter what, when I slept outside in the rain at the train station upset at myself for making a dumb choice, I cried out to God and thanked Him. When I wasn’t sure what to do in my marriage once I thanked God for my beautiful girls. No car at times, brakes not working. It works best for me to thank Him up above for everything. Even if the day seems the most dark and sufferable day ever. You will find something. I know it!

I am a mom of two adult daughter's who are 22 & 24. One is a nurse and the other is a stylist, I cherish them. My youngest has an adorable son who is about 15 months old. Both her and her boyfriend and son live in Chicago. My sister and her girlfriend live in Chicago as well. My oldest lives in Davenport, Iowa. She currently has a cute dog named Coop and a girlfriend. I moved to Galena in July of 2018. I love it here, as I am close to the Quad Cities and Debuque, Iowa. And not too far from the Wisconsin border. I live in a small historic tourist town. Look up Galena, Illinois and I think you will be surprised. I live with my ex-husband and I have a kitty named Rainy and another named Zach. I got Zach from my sister before I moved all the way out here. I am a believer in God and Jesus. But I am also a believer in loving others as Christ first loved us. Human kindness is my key in life. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Chronic Kdney Disease in October 2017 and learning so much more everday from others. I have a blessed life with many challenges with lots of stories but truly grateful and blessed forever in the Lord.

Thank you Kathy for joining up with Freedomborn, I look forward to sharing with you on both our Blogs.
Giving Thanks to God, as you shared is very uplifting but not for what we suffer but that He is with us when we do and yes He will work all things for good in our lives as the Scripture below confirms. The song really touched my heart too when I first head it and still does.
Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”
Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Lamentations 3: 33 For God doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.
May you be greatly blessed Kathy as you share with others and encourage them in you faith and focus.
