As I sat out on the front porch, I felt happy. The sun was on me, my cat sat next to me. I began to smile. I heard the birds chirping so beautifully. I hear in the distance someone mowing their lawn. I see someone walking their dog. I can hear a car is going to come by me as the neighborhood is quiet and beautiful this morning. The sun shines on my body. The trees are green, the bushes are finally green, and the flowers have finally bloomed. This is the beauty of earth that I like. The sky is blue and the clouds are white like marshmallows.

End of the Semester
Last week we premiered “Horizons”, that is our literary magazine at Waubonsee Community College. We all worked hard on this projet and it was well worth the effort in the end. Finally being done with Horizons prepares me to be done with the end of the semester as well. The end of my Creative Writing Fiction Class will be a part of my life. Who knew what I was going to learn, still amazed.
